WHAT IS ACNE?

Acne is an inflammatory reaction of your skin caused by a Gram positive opportunistic pathogen named Propionibacterium Acnes. This bacterium is a part of the normal flora of the skin, oral cavity, large intestine, the conjunctiva and the external ear canal. Research indicates that P. acnes may play a role in other conditions, including inflammation of the prostate leading to cancer, SAPHO (synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis, osteitis) syndrome, sarcoidosis and sciatica.

WHAT CAUSES ACNE?

Acne occurs when your hair follicles become clogged with oils and skin cells. The P.acnes bacterium becomes trapped in the clogged follicles cause swelling, redness, and discomfort.

WHAT IS AQUA GOLD FINE TOUCH?

Aqua Gold Fine Touch, is a treatment uses patented micro-channel technology to allow micro-injections of selective peptide, hyaluronic acid, and vitamins into the skin for quick rejuvenation of the face, neck and hands. The sterile vial that uses tiny 24 karat gold needles allows your provider to apply hyaluronic acid and Botox just below the skin's surface for long lasting results. No facial or serum comes close to the results you can expect with AquaGold.

Designed with everyone in mind, this treatment is equally suitable for prom to retirement parties.

HOW DOES AQUA GOLD WORK?

AquaGold’s patented microchannel technology deliver products directly into the dermis through thin, gold-plated needles — each finer than a human hair — to improve tone, texture, and glow. Treatment can be customized with a variety of products and serums, such as Botox and hyaluronic acid filler, based upon each patient’s skin concerns. In addition, introducing the microchannels into the dermis helps to stimulate collagen production, which is essential for firmer, younger-looking skin.

WHAT RESULTS WILL I SEE FROM THE AQUA GOLD TREATMENT?

AquaGold patients can notice dewier skin almost immediately, with full results generally seen one to two weeks following treatment. Results will vary depending on the ingredients used, however, most patients can expect to see more hydrated, glowing skin with minimized pore size and improved texture.

HOW DOES AQUA GOLD HELP ACNE?

For patients suffering with acne, your provider will design special Aqua Gold cocktails to help treat acne scars and minimize your pore size. Sometimes medication is required to treat acne. For cystic acne cysts, your provider can administer cortisone injections to help relieve the pain and cyst size.

HOW LONG IS THE AQUA GOLD TREATMENT? 

The typical AquaGold treatment takes less than 30 minutes to perform, making it an excellent lunchtime procedure.

IS AQUA GOLD SAFE?

Outside of minimal flushing for up to an hour after treatment, Aquagold is safe and there’s no downtime associated with AquaGold treatments. Avoid prolonged sun exposure and wear a physical SPF 50 sunscreen at all times in the weeks following treatment.

WHY SHOULD YOU NEVER SQUEEZE YOUR PIMPLES?
